2.8.12. mail.add_x_header

The mail.add_x_header parameter determines if it is necessary to add to messages sent without authorization from the web server (for example, using the mail) the header X-PHP-Originating-Script, which will contain the script's UID and filename. Once this option is enabled, the headers of sent messages will allow you to trace the name of the script that initiated the sending, which can be useful, for example, when searching for the source of a spam mailing.

  1. Open the "PHP settings" section.
  2. Enable the "mail.add_x_header" option and save your changes:
  3. Wait approximately 10-15 minutes for the changes to take effect.
