8.1.1. What are cloud services

Cloud services are standalone instances of specific technologies, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and others.

For each ordered instance, dedicated resources are provided in accordance with the selected plan — CPU cores, RAM, disk space. While using the service, the plan can be changed in either direction.

Each instance is completely independent from the others. It can be delegated and transferred to other users.

All cloud services are paid daily from your personal balance. For more details, see Payment for cloud services.

For information on all stages of a cloud service's life cycle, from the moment it is ordered to the moment it is permanently deleted, see the article Cloud service lifecycle.
